Description In ZIP file = A short description of a ZIP archive's contents stored within the ZIP file itself. The file facilitates automated archive content description building facilities that exist in unattended file managing/sharing systems such as FTPs, electronic bulletin boards, etcetera. The extracted ZIP file descriptions are exposed to those using the system if they wish to view archive descriptions of archives available for download. The use of DIZ files now extends to any archive file the automated/unattended systems support (Many applications).
