Commodore 1541 disk drive image file used by Commodore computer/hardware emulators. These image files can also be written to compatible Commodore disk drives with appropriate software and interfacing hardware, recreating diskette storage media for use with Commodore computer equipment, and devices compatible with Commodore computers such as the MSD single or dual disk drives. The Commodore 1541 was the definitive default disk drive for much of the Commodore 64's early history and, not surprisingly, is currently one of the most well supported/documented.
